If anyone wants to join us for the practice league in Yuma, we start up again this Saturday, April 17th. Because of the tournaments they are having in the afternoon though we will start bowling at 9:30am. Please pass this on! Cost is $10 a person and there is no commitment.

I’m sad to report that our team mate and friend Dan Stauf has passed away from a non-Covid related illness. Dan was an avid bowler, bowling in many leagues and tournaments all over California. As he got older he stopped bowling but would support his wife Toni and always joined us on league night. Sometimes Dan the man would join Fred in the pro shop to watch some old western movies to pass the time. We joked that he was Fred’s security guard, and even presented him with a security vest!! Dan was a great friend and mentor and he will be missed.

Hello everyone! I hope you all are well and staying safe! If you bowl in the Saturday Practice League with us in Yuma, I wanted to post that there will be no practice league for the next three weeks. We will start up again on April 3rd. Any questions let me know! Patsy

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a great start to 2021! We will be starting up the practice league tomorrow at 11:00 am. It’s $10 for three games, and we build teams with the bowlers that show up! You can still join us even if you never have before. It’s nice to see our bowling friends again!!

Fun tournament this Saturday, starting at 1pm Yuma Time. Since they are having this tournament, we wont be having the practice league.

We were saddened today by the news of the passing of Faye Douthitt yesterday. Faye was quite a gal that lived a long, exciting life that stretched over 98 years. Here is a glimpse as to some of her bowling exploits...

Help Stamp Out Hunger! Bring a can or boxed food item and you will get entries into a raffle! All food collected will be donated to the Yuma Community Food Bank! Prizes will be drawn throughout the tournament!

There will not be a Practice League this Saturday, November 14th. If you want to bowl anyway, the open bowling special is two hours for $10! We also will not be having Practice League on November 21st so that we can participate in the Turkey Shoot tournament that day. Remember that Yuma is one hour ahead of us, they don’t do daylight savings time!
