If you do not pet my belly, I will knock this bowl over. Oh, you think I'm bluffing? Try me... --- Someone pet this girl or we're going to need a clean up on aisle Kitty Condos. If you're available for the job long-term, you know where to find her: ivhsanimals.org

As cute as they are, hedgehogs are not pets, sorry Californians! California is one of the 5 states where owning a hedgehog is illegal (not including cities within other states with hedgehog ownership restrictions). This guy was terrified when our officers rescued him. They brought him to our facility to be examined and he has now been taken to a sanctuary so he can be properly cared for. He will then be released into the appropriate habitat where he can thrive! #wildlifeconservation #protectwildlife

Lots of interesting things happening today at our Emergency Animal Evacuation Site! We’re currently caring for all kinds of animals, as you can see! We offered this completely free support to those impacted by the Blue Ridge Fire who were evacuated and needed somewhere safe to temporarily keep their pets. The evacuation in Chino Hills has officially lifted so we will remain stationed here (Chino Hills Community Center) until tomorrow at 12pm. If you are unable to pick up ...your pets by then, we will transport them to our shelter where you will be able to pick them up. Thank you to everyone who donated, our 24/7 staff who took all measures to keep the pets warm, well socialized and with full bellies and the first responders who combated the fire so bravely. #blueridgefire #chinovalley #chinohills #fires #yorbalinda #lacounty #southerncalifornia #socal #lafires #losangeles

The only way to capture how insanely adorable Amber is is in slow motion and accompanied by excessive amounts of baby talk. We’ve got to slow this peppy girl down to capture every angle of cuteness and her fast-paced, loving personality. It’s like FLASH, cuteness overload! And we don’t want you all to miss a second of it. Swipe to see Elvira catching you checkin’ her out Elvira: Hey, you checkin’ me out? ...Good, I know I’m cute. You should be. Elvira would make an exemplary pet. This petite Pittie sits at your feet when you’re hanging out, knows some tricks, doesn’t pull the leash on walks and doesn’t bark back at all of the dogs causing commotion over her when she passes by! In fact, she’s flattered. She again says, Good, I know I’m cute. They should be causing commotion over me. ... Adopt or Foster-to-Hold this mistress of darkness today and welcome her into your cozy home ivhsspca.org/adoptions (ID #I1342726)
