YOUTH IMPACT AWARD 2021 Health Net's parent company Centene Institute, is proud to announce their Youth Impact Award that challenges teens to develop an original 30 to 60-second Public Service Announcement (PSA) with educational messaging to spread the word about the dangers of vaping. All submissions are eligible for up to 10 hours of community service, as well as a chance to win one of 13 cash prizes. APSEA Scholarship Each year, the Asian Pacific State Employees Association (APSEA) Foundation awards educational scholarships to students in the greater Sacramento region. Over the last 13 years, the APSEA Foundation has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships. We are pleased to announce that scholarship applications are currently being accepted for the 2021-2022 academic year. Applicants must meet four minimum requirements:... Demonstrate involvement in the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community; Be currently enrolled as a high school senior in good academic standing (2.5 GPA or above); Reside and attend school in one the following six counties: (1) Sacramento, (2) San Joaquin, (3) Solano, (4) Sutter, (5) Yolo, (6) Yuba; and Attend a four-year university/college, community college, or vocational school in the 2021-2022 academic year.
