On June 30th, OEBAC Political Awareness and Involvement Committee hosted their Inaugural Virtual Postcard Party to Stop Voter Suppression!!! Through our partnership with Reclaim Our Vote and the North Carolina NAACP, Sorors sent 300 Postcards to Voters of Color in North Carolina, who had been purged from voter rolls. We took on this initiative to ensure voters of color, in particular black voters are re-registered in states with 20% or more voters of color in their population..., significant electoral votes, and a Senate seat in play.
