The rapidly evolving Silverado Fire, which has significantly affected the city of Irvine, is at zero percent containment according to the Orange County Fire Authority. As a result, all IUSD schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27, including IVA. There will be no instruction. Please continue to check your email for additional District communications.

"While students remain safe, the following IUSD elementary schools are under mandatory evacuation: Canyon View, Santiago Hills, Portola Springs, Eastwood, Stonegate and Loma Ridge. Parents/guardians at these schools have been notified. For those who cannot pick students up at these schools, students will be transported by school bus to Irvine High School. These families should check email, voicemail and text messages for updates."
