#stagecoach400 bicycle race has unofficially started. The event will be pedaling through ocotillo wells this weekend the 9th April. There are 80 men and women doing 400 mile race. The Iron door plans to be open early morning to cheer them on qith beers. Lol. Bloody might be better

Just a quick update. The Door is closed and has been closed. We plan to be open right after given permission to serve beer on premises. Please be patient see you all around camp.

we love this bar. As for what is happening with covid and the communist California government. We are just going day by day. It is what it is. And it is very discouraging, to say the least. No posted hours.... I want to see everyone. But these regulations are very difficult to operate at any capacity. I need you all to understand that we are in SanDiego County. And even though we are in the wild wild west. The PoPo have guns to our head to exercise enforcement. So help by staying outside or making your visit shorter. But we all need to make sure if you have any contact with covid and or have symptoms. Please stay home. I don't have a bunch of happiness to share, in fact I want to cry. I am sorry that our freedom to hang out at the iron door is being interrupted by regulations. All love for our people in the desert families.

Ok peeps we are planning to be open Sunday tomorrow. September 27 As the weather gets cooler and our beautiful desert season is starting. We will do our best at the iron door to be available with more open hours. Flexibility is needed. These covid19 regulations and limitations are very distressing to business. There is plenty of outside seating under the new shade structure. We can still drink our beers outside on the porch and cement patio. Inside capacity cu...rrently is about 30 people. Which is fukin stupid. with how quiet it has been less everyday. But I need all of us to make sure and do our part in keeping one another healthy. You know . Was your hands. Cover your mouth. Use your manners when talking give a little personal space. Or just shut up lol. But for Real IF YOU ARE SICK OR REACENTLY BEEN SICK OR AROUND THE SICK. PLEASE STAY AT CAMP. OR HOME.
