Dear Friends, Registration is now open to anyone around the world. This is an excellent and rare chance for us to dive deep into wisdom especially during these uncertain times. Dear Friends, We are delighted to share pictures of our recent distribution of offerings of rice and dahl and other requisites to both the monastics and laypeo...ple in Bodhgaya. We completed our offering yesterday. Even a drop of grain makes a difference. We gave food to the following monasteries: Bangladesh Temple Burmese Temple Bodhgaya Wat Thai Bhuripalo Bodhgaya Wat Thai Magadh Vippasana Bodhgaya Cambodia Temple Bodhgaya Wat Lao PDR Bodhgaya Holly Land Temple Bodhgaya All India Bhikkhu Sangha Bodhgaya Wat Lao International Bodhgaya Bhikkhu Anuruddha Bodhgaya Bikkhu Aanand Buddha Vihar Bodhgaya Burmese student association Bodhgaya Tibetian Temple (Namgyel Monastery) Bodhgaya U Javana Bodhgaya IMC Kruba Boonchum In addition, we gave food for one week to 195 families in th following areas - Munsichak wari (115 families), Bodhgaya local Taridih 40 families and Turri Jindapur (40 families) Bodhgaya. I have been told that the lay villagers are without food. It is just a small offering but I hope we may continue as long as necessary-gathering friends to do good together. Sharing all the merit with all friends who came together to make this happen including the fearless workers on the front line who carried the bags of food to the poor and delivered with such respect to the monks. Today, I also end my small retreat. It has been absolutely wonderful. Thank you all for being a very big part of helping another in need. You made all the difference. We will come through this together especially in making clear intentions from here to Bodhgaya, the Seat of Enlightenment.

Dear Friends in Dharma, NEWS ON INTERNATIONAL TIPITAKA CHANTING PROGRAMS-POSTPONED UNTIL VACCINE AVAILABLE As you all know, with the current COVID pandemic it is not safe for us to come together until there is a vaccine. Therefore, we have decided to postpone our 16th International Tipitaka chanting program until March 2021. My sense is that we should be able to continue our International Tipitaka Chanting programs once there is a vaccine available. Given that I heard from ...Dr Fauci (USA) recently indicated in a Facebook message that there should be a vaccine available by January 2021, we would like to wait until we receive wonderful worldwide news that we have a breakthrough with a medical vaccine. We do not want to jeopardize anyone's safety by coming together. I have already informed Nangzey Dorjee about our intention to move the ceremony to March 2021 and has noted our request. We will be meeting with the ITCC council soon to discuss a new date once we get closer to possible dates. In the meantime, let us all please stay safe so we can meet again. Starting soon, we will be working towards making the Tipitaka pdf texts available for all of you so that you may have in advance so that when we meet we can recite with more experience. This year's Chief organizer remains to be Vietnam International Mahasangha in partnership with the International Tipitaka chanting council members. We hope very much that all of us can join again under the Sacred Bodhi Tree reciting the precious dharma in this lifetime. Dear Friends, We accomplished the amazing offerings of food to 450 families in Sarnath through the amazing execution of Tsering Nyima and coordination by siste...r Tsering Gellek and many others in Sarnath. It brings joy to know that people have food for one month and we gave our best effort to help another! Thank you to all the dear friends and supporters to making this vision a reality. I share in the merit with all of you. The lesson for today is to bring the goodness around us so that we only do and see good. Dedicated to all those who are suffering now-may their suffering be lifted. Here are some photos of the families who received the food!

Enlightenment took place at the most sacred place of all, Bodhgaya. In two weeks from now, May 6-7th on a full moon day we will all be celebrating Vesak. Just before the full moon day of the month of May in about the year 528 BCE, a young ascetic of noble birth, worn out by years of practice, arrived on the outskirts of the small village of Uruvela nestled on the banks of the sandy Neranjara River. Now, we know this place to the Seat of Enlightenment. I am working to see ho...w we could all link up around the world using the power of intention to remember the most precious of all, the Triple Gem; the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. Let us use May 6-7th to come together and unite from around the world to unite in prayer for all beings and especially pay gratitude to all those who are on the front line and pray for those who left us earlier than expected.
