Insect Photo Challenge. Theme "Caterpillars in the Cradle". In observance of Child Health Day in the United States, ISMC'ers were challenged to post photos of the immature stages of insects. In this challenge there were 5 contestants submitting 17 photos from 4 locations. All photographs met the theme. Three challenge takers had the opportunity of winning attractive IPC commemorative lapel pins. Unfortunately!!! Submissions did not meet the submission criteria. Still, a great deal of awareness was brought to the important role that immature stages of insects play in the environment. Please view this 2-minute video.
