Shape correction done with skin camouflage technique As you can see in the before pic, my client’s previous shape (done by another artist) was thicker in width. Using the skin camouflage technique, I was able to give her a more youthful shape that enhanced her eyes more. My client had very little to no hair on her brows, so I opted for a soft gradient blend to create the illusion of a natural look for her brows. Remember, color is more vibrant immediately after the session. Once fully healed, the color will slightly darken, soften & lighten by 20-50%.

Time & patience is when it comes to achieving the desired look. Healed results will vary from person to person due to various factors (age, skin type, aftercare, sun exposure). Skin being the main determining factor. Skin undertone, skin type, skin texture.. it all plays a role on how you heal. Skin on the face is different than the body because that’s where we have more oil production and constant skin regeneration. Everyone’s skin is different so every individual will yie...ld its own results. Remember that the color will be more vibrant immediately right after the session. Once fully healed, the color will lighten and soften by 20-40%. A 2nd session may be required to finalize the look of the brows. First session: Typically they will heal powdery and more on the natural side (some girls prefer this look and some may not). Some light patchy areas are expected & completely normal. Second session: This is when I will tidy up any light areas and/or go darker to build up the color. As I always tell my clients, it’s easier to add than take back.

+ . Client had previous microbladed work done by another artist. Overtime the color faded red and hair strokes turned blotchy. Color and shape corrective work can be challenging, but it can be achievable. As you can see from her first healed session, I was able to neutralize the red and slightly correct her shape from the previous work.
