If you were not able to listen in to today’s ACIP emergency meeting here is the update. . . ACIP decided they did not have enough information to make any updated recommendations on the Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 Vaccine. .... . . For the time being the Johnson and Johnson vaccine will remain on pause while more data is collected. . . By Friday, April 16th ACIP will set a date to meet again within the next 2 weeks to further discuss the J&J vaccine. . . . In the meantime, CIC would like to encourage you to continue making appointments for your Covid-19 vaccination. There are two mRNA vaccines we currently have available to us that have both been safe and effective at preventing COVID-19. . . Please remember this is a sign that our National reporting system is working properly. . .
