#TBT 1964 Symphony on Ice at Iceland Ice Skating Rink presented by Capitol City Figure Skating Club. I'm amazed by how many advertisements they sold. The Ice Show and Program were very professional. We plan to have Ice Shows in the summer when we re-open!

Watch the amazing Karen Chen from Fremont, CA, perform at the ISU Championships in Stockholm. (Replay is on NBC right now!) Karen is one of the fastest spinners in the world. WW!!! Karen is coached by Tammy Gambill who learned to skate at Iceland! Bill Kerth (Executive Director Terrie Kerth’s Dad) was Tammy’s coach for many years. Karen also skated in the 2015 Iceland Ice Show. Congratulations, Karen!

#TBT May 1955 Winter Wonderland Ice Show at Iceland! Lynn Carmichael was the skater on the front cover. She had recently passed her Gold Medal United States Figure Test. Iceland's owner, Bill Kerth, directed the show. Bob Woodington played Iceland's Hammond B3 organ. It was great having "Woody" play the music live.
