Read aloud with Teacher Linda from our Playgroup program Here are three tips for making the most of your read aloud at home with your child: 1) Start early, read often.... Reading to your child helps build bonds, vocabulary and healthy reading habits. 2) Read the pictures. Illustrations are visual clues that can help kids build their vocabulary and their emotional toolkit. 3) Press the pause button. Take time to look at a picture, ask a question, or share reactions.
