Oh, labor. A true test of patience and perseverance. As a Birth Doula, I am so very honored to be invited into such a sacred space. This space is quite probably the most vulnerable (and the most challenging) space a woman or birthing person may ever be in. I have been in that laborious space twice myself. The heightened sensitivity, the emotions, the exhaustion, the excitement, the excruciating pain, the endurance! It’s all so intense. But that precious moment when that new l...ife comes springing forth into this realm... that moment makes it all worth it. I will never forget this sweet sweet baby girl. I will never forget this day. I will never forget this woman & her sweet, sweet family who took such great care of me, made sure I was well nourished, well compensated, and even gifted me with beautiful pictures of the birth to add to my portfolio. I’m honored to be invited back to guide her in birthing her future children! My absolute pleasure. The Creatress’ Herbal Body Butter (in the making) There are 8 herbs, flowers & roots infused into my body butter. The infusion process takes 3 to 6 weeks. Over the past 4+ years I’ve learned both the proper amount & the proper time frame needed of each plant substance to produce a well-infused oil that not only moisturizes & beautifies the skin, but also heals the skin of ailments such as eczema & psoriasis, cuts, bruises, infections, inflammation, dryness, dark spots, and mo...re. I have also studied the comedogenic effects of each of the 4 butters & the infused oil to create an Herbal Body Butter that doesn’t clog the pores. This is why some ingredients have changed over the past few years, such as the omission of coconut oil which I’ve found to be highly comedogenic. While this has all taken time, study, lots of testing, recreating & perfecting, I am so very proud of this product. Dis is my baby & it DOES what it came to do! Almost ready for Step 3!
