Created Wonderfully's Visionary Founder 55th Birthday Come in!

Created Wonderfully 02.11.2020

Stage 4 - The Adult Butterfly When a butterfly emerges from a chrysalis its wings are wet and wrinkled. The butterfly hangs with its wings down and starts pumping a liquid called HEMOLYMPH to their wings so that they become big and strong. After a few hours, the butterfly became ready to take its first flight.... At this last stage of the life cycle of a butterfly, adult female butterflies lay their eggs on some leaves and the life cycle of a butterfly begins again. The Butterfly does not come out of the cocoon as a child, NOPE, she GROWN! She is a full-blown ADULT and she comes out fulfilling a purpose because her life is not long. Each stage of my life has brought me to this point today. Today, I celebrate my 55th birthday and this picture represents my FREEDOM! Free of loving myself. Free to be what God called me to be and not worry about what people think. Free to help God's daughters embrace every flaw and every imperfection they may have but still love ourselves. I have a peace that no one can take away from me. My last two scars were in intimate areas on my body. So you are seeing partial scars. I had a tummy tuck and that scar is from one hip to the other and it's two feet long. The last scars are inside my legs because I had a thigh lift - from my knee to my groin. This is me and this is my truth. When we were shooting this picture, so many things ran through my mind, should you really do this? But you saved, is this appropriate? What will your pastor think? What will people think? Then I closed my eyes and listened to my heart and God said, IT's okay. I made you and there is nothing wrong with you or these pictures. When she sent me these pictures, I looked into my eyes and I saw PEACE and I felt FREE! I am sharing my truth because of what my nonprofit, Created Wonderfully, believes. Our mission is to empower women and girls to embrace their own truth in order to be their best selves. If we can help one woman or one girl know that they are created wonderfully, it's worth it. Please donate. Also, you may donate privately through this campaign as well. Peace and Blessings to all that are reading this. Thank you @Tiffany for being an amazing photographer. If you would like to share it, please do. #ILoveMyFlaws #ilovemyscars #createdwonderfully #iamenough #butterfly #beyou #betruetoyou #perfectlyimperfect #thisisme

Stage 3 - What happens inside the cocoon... The metamorphosis from a caterpillar into a butterfly occurs during this stage. During this stage, the caterpillar's old body dies and a new body forms inside a protective shell. While some people think of cocoons as a resting place, there's no resting going on inside the cocoon! On the contrary, there's a lot of activity. Inside the cocoon, the caterpillar is transforming into a new creature. This requires that the old caterpillar... body be broken down and turned into something new. Think of it as insect recycling! Whew! That was my life! I call this stage, the growing stage and it was painful at times. I had to learn to be silent and trust the process. It was during this painful time, God was creating a new me. During this stage, I had no choice but to lean completely on God. That's it. I lot to things I did not understand but when I look back, God was preparing for my assignment with God's daughters. I had to learn to be silent when my name, in church, was misspoken. God wanted to know how I would handle the pressure. If I couldn't handle the small fires, how could I take Created Wonderfully global? So I asked myself, "Can God Trust Me With Greatness?" My scars...On both arms, I had the skin removed. From elbow to armpit 12 inches that's another two feet of scars. These scars are 18 years old. At first, the scars were tight and much darker. Sos much so that I would seldom wear sleeveless shirts because I just felt everyone's eyes on me. I now realize, it was more me than them. Thank God for growth! I am sharing my truth because of what my nonprofit, Created Wonderfully, believes. Our mission is to empower women and girls to embrace their own truth in order to be their best selves.
