Tracy, CA - South County Fire crews currently on scene of a working structure fire on the 100 block of 12th Street. The call came in at approximately 5:30 A.M.... and the fire was under control within 30 minutes. The fire includes commercial property and a private residence. Crews remain on scene mopping up. This morning Tracy Firefighters responded to a working garage fire in the west side of town. Firefighters worked quickly to attack the fire and keep it contained to the garage. The cause is under investigation and no injuries were reported. #tracyfirefighters #workingfire

Tracy, CA - At approximately 5:00 P.M. this evening, South County Fire responded to a vegetation fire threatening structures in the 20000 block of El Rancho Roa...d. Our firefighters with the assistance of the Lathrop-Manteca Fire District were able to protect all structures and control the fire within 45 minutes. There were no injuries to residents or firefighters. Please join us in congratulating Tim Rivas on his promotion to the rank of Captain. Captain Rivas is a native of Manteca and is formally a Reserve Firefighter with the City of Manteca. He joined our organization as a Lateral Firefighter Paramedic from Ripon Fire in 2014. In 2016 he obtained the rank of Engineer. Tim is an active and contributing member of our department and Local 3355. Tim and his family reside in Ripon. Congratulations Captain Rivas!
