Hunt Hale Jones Architect Dan Hale was at the ceremony to receive the award on behalf of City Ventures. Congrats City Ventures! In partnership with Structures 2019, Silicon Valley Clean Energy sponsored an award to recognize the All-Electric Development of the Year. City Ventures received this recognition for Depot Station, located in Morgan Hill.... The all-electric homes designed by Hunt Hale Jones Architects combine comfort and modern living to ensure that residents are happy and healthy. With solar, induction cooking and heat pump technology for heating and cooling, green living is already built into every home. These best of technologies and high-efficiency electric appliances not only make everyday life simpler but continue to lead decarbonization in our community. HHJA joined BIA Bay Area Professional Women in Building, BIA Bay Area, with Paul Nieto from Signature Development Group for a tour of the Hive Oakland. We took some picts of design details we thought interesting. HHJA volunteer day at Project Open Hand. Project Open Hand's vision is that no one who is sick or elderly in our community will go without nutritious meals with love. Their medically-tailored food helps clients recover from illness, get stronger and lead healthier lives. Project Open Hand services assist those with AIDS/HIV as well as critical illnesses such as breast cancer, diabetes and provides daily warm, nutritious meals for seniors and adults with disabilities fighting hunger. HHJA enjoyed meeting the POH community and their regular volunteers. We are so grateful for the services POH provides for the San Francisco and Oakland communities.
