Starting next Tuesday (06/02) Hunter Salon will reopen with our regular business hours. We have made some changes to ensure your safety and to meet local and state guidelines. Most importantly: Please bring your own clean and sanitized face mask. Both you and your stylist will have to wear one throughout your service. ... Please wait in your vehicle upon arrival. Text your stylist to let her know you're here, and she'll let you know when your services are ready to begin. If you are/have experienced symptoms or have come in contact with someone with symptoms in the last 14 days, please do the correct thing and cancel your appointment. Lastly, beyond all else, please be caring and kind to your stylist. This has never happened to our industry before, and while trying to satisfy our loved guests, they are still supporting their families, and the challenges this time brings us all. I’m so tired of being closed. I’m so tired of being quarantined. I’m tired of knowing we worked so damned hard to get this baby open only to be shut down a week later. We’re now at 40 days and counting (I officially don’t know what day it is), with no financial aid for the salon, my stylists and lash artists. Just like the millions of other small businesses, we need to come back soon if we are going to survive. With all of that, we are trying to stay focused and positive and... decided to bring a little cheer to an otherwise lifeless building. We may be just outside of the zone, but we decided to be a part of @downtownslo #mayflowerinitiative anyway. We may not get placed on their map, but it was so nice being in the salon, being creative on a totally new canvas with beautiful friends helping to bring this bright window art to life. I hope this small gesture brings a bit of happiness, positivity and cheer to our little community. And hopefully we are one step closer to protecting our loved ones as well as reopening our withering businesses. We miss you. We miss working with our hands and creating beautiful hair and lashes. We miss the community. The faces. The smiles. The conversations. The human interactions. The human touch. Please let this be lifted soon
