Because we are absolutely devoted to helping adults realize they are genuinely significant to the Creator of the universe. Today we thank God for the future. We may not always know what comes next, but we surely know who will be with us each step of the way. He is the God of hope, our assurance, our rock in uncertain times. He has ...set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come (2 Corinthians 1:22). So no matter what tomorrow holds, we know who will hold us tomorrow. He was with us yesterday, He is with us today, and He will be wit...h us forever! "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 "I am the Alpha and the Omega,' says the Lord God, 'who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.'" - Revelation 1:8 Praise to the eternal King, our Lord Jesus Christ, for His unfailing love and boundless grace! Today we thank God for the present. We thank Him for being "God with us through everything each day brings. Often people ask us why this ministry seems to have such a profound effect on so many. The answer is simple: Christ is the heart of Hume. He is the Sweet Mystery of the mountain, the source of every single good and wonderful thing about this place. Without Him, this would be just another few dozen acres of trees and rocks. Wherever you are, He's with youin the present, in every moment, in every circumstance. Today we thank God because HE IS. "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - Isaiah 41:10 Thank You, Jesus!

Today we thank God for the past. We praise Him for working through a lumber company to create this lake so many years ago. We glorify Him for raising up five obedient, faithful men who listened mightily to the Lord and His call to invest in a place that fully displays His creativity and beauty. Almost 75 years, multiple locations, and over 1.5 million guests later, God continues to astound and humble with the way He moves souls at Hume. We are privileged to continue sharing H...is gospel for as long as He allows. Thank you, Lord, for dreaming up this place called Hume!
