Just a reminder that the Garden will be switching from our regular Summer hours to our Winter hours beginning this week. We will now be open Wednesday-Sunday from 10am-4pm. A single adult admission is $10, $7 for seniors, and $5 for children and students. Make sure to check out our website for updates about the Garden, and for information on how you can become a member and gain free entrance to our garden and hundreds more! HBGF Halloween Special Children in costume, ages 6-17, will get free admission into the garden on Oct. 31st. One day only from 10am-4pm. There will be spooky music and treats, so make sure to come out and show off those cool costumes! #halloween #botanicalgarden

Starting today, October 14th, the HBGF online charity auction site will be up, and items will begin to be available to preview! A link will be provided on the HBGF homepage, and that is where you can also find the link to register for the auction. If you purchased plants during our online plant sale in spring you already have an account, you will just have to verify your information. Bidding will begin on October 21st at 12am, and end November 1st at 11:59pm. Throughout these days new auction items will be uploaded to the site so make sure you are checking it constantly! The Garden will be open Wed-Sun from 10am-5pm. We ask that anyone who plans on visiting to review our new policies listed on our website, and please make sure that you are wearing a mask while checking in at the gate. With about 45 acres of garden space available there is plenty of room to social distance while enjoying the outdoors! In other news, on October 14th, we will open our online charity auction site in order for everyone to begin previewing the auction items before the bidding begins October 21st. Everyone at the Garden would like to give a huge thank you to all of the artists, musicians, and members that came out to support us for our first ever Members & Sponsors Week! We loved having so many masked faces listening to the live music at Marie’s Terrace, and enjoyed seeing everyone so interested in the beautiful artwork that was being created throughout the garden. If you came out to the garden tell us what your favorite part of the week was. We’d love to know!
