Houghton Park Be Safe Program will also be presenting HEALTHY FAMILY COOKING on FRIDAY, AUGUST 9TH, 2013 from 6 pm - 7 pm. Come join staff in front of the building for the healthy cooking class. Learn to cook and eat.

Houghton Park Staff brings news that our BE SAFE Program will be having FAMILY BINGO NIGHT on FRIDAY, AUGUST 9TH, 2013 from 7 pm - 9 pm. Come with your family and enjoy a nice friendly game of bingo. We Hope To See Your Family!

MOVIE IN THE PARK ~ At Houghton Park on Friday, July 26st at dusk. The featured film will be "Wreck it Ralph." This is an outdoor movie experience, please bring a lawn chair or blanket. The show is located on the north/east side of the community center building adjacent to the picnic area. Join us for the fun!

Houghton Park this summer is hosting wonderful happenings with this new program called Be "S.A.F.E." Making Our Neighborhoods Shine. The Long Beach Parks & Recreation is in collaboration with the Council District 9 and Long Beach Community Action Partnerships are providing summer activities and programs for the North Long Beach community. Each week Families can share fun filled activities and new experiences. Participants may enjoy classes, sports, games, graphic design workshops, video production classes, tournaments and variety of activities. Every week ends with Family Night on Fridays from 6 pm- 9 pm. So please come join the Be Safe Program for your summer enjoyment.

The countdown begins, 3 more days till the start of 100 Days of Summer. How exciting!
