In light of growing concern of the coronavirus, we at Hot Bachata Nights have decided to cancel our April 19th, 2020 event. We have made this decision as the situation has progressed and has caused other events/festivals worldwide to close. Although we are more than 1 month away, the update the city had done with the closure of city-owned buildings/events came only a few days before our event. We are unsure if they may announce a closure of all events in April, but just want ...to make appropriate measures now to not have guest show up the night of and it be cancelled. We are following the policy from California Health Officials on Wednesday 3/11/2020 that states: events with 250 or more people should be canceled or postponed statewide to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus. The policy does also note that The policy change also says: Small gatherings that do not allow for social distancing of 6 feet between people should also be canceled or postponed. Gatherings of people who are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 people who are 60 years old or older and people with an underlying chronic disease should be limited to no more than 10 people. health officials said. Given how close contact dance is and the wide range of ages we get a Hot Bachata Nights, we do not want to take that chance and have this potentially spread to our patrons or their families and loved ones. Please be sure to practice good hygiene by washing your hands for 20 seconds and if you are sick, reduce contact with others. Check in with the Center for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), Local Health Officials to learn more about what you can do to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. See more

This is our most up to date calendar of events for 2020. Once again, we are closely monitoring the situation surrounding events and the ability to have them. We will return on May 24th, 2020 for Hot Bachata Nights!
