Horsepower hosted some very special guests this week...the Matsiko World Orphan Choir. They received much love from the horses while learning important lessons about respect and boundaries. Enjoy this video and watch the horses' responses to their beautiful voices.

HORSEPOWER, EQUINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, IS EFFECTIVE BECAUSE... Although the horse is domesticated, it still retains its prey animal instincts. Because their very safety depends on it, horses are able to detect even the slightest discrepancies in their environment and respond so quickly that it almost seems simultaneous. Horses still respond this way today--even if that discrepancy comes from a human. The instant changes in the horse's body language are observed by our team and shared with the client. The client may then see the discrepancy of of their emotions and attitudes on the inside and what is happening by their actions on the outside.
