Homeless Services are EXPENSIVE...Enter Social Enterprise Housing and homeless services are expensive! Space costs, staff, security, food etc. Nine of our 12 s...ite locations are shelters, open 24/7. The other three, (Navigation Center, HELP Center and Job Center) are daytime operations. To address the high cost of housing and feeding over 500+ people nightly (and growing), we rely upon revenue generated from our Thrift Stores. 100% of the proceeds from our stores go into homeless services. Our TS also provide job training and jobs for our clients! You can drop off donations at 11076 Norris Street Pacoima 24/7 or at any of our Thrift Stores or call 818.392.0020 for a donation pick up! Don't DISCARD...DONATE! https://www.hopeofthevalley.org/thrift/locations-and-hours/ See more

You’ve heard this MYTH before all homeless people suffer from mental illness or addiction. Not true! Many of the men and women we serve at Hope of the Valley are homeless simply because they can’t afford housing. As we celebrate #WorldHomelessDay tomorrow (10/10), take this chance to educate and engage people in our community with the real truth about our struggling neighbors. That lives CAN be changed, and it often starts with a simple meal and safe shelter made possible by generous friends. Learn more about how Hope of the Valley helps local people escape homelessness and start over again! www.hopeofthevalley.org #WorldHomelessnessDay #HelpHomelessNeighbors #TransformLives #RescueMission
