A very special thanks for our partners at Tencent Games and Riot Games for allowing Hollywood Scoring to produce the music for League of Legends Live 2020 which broadcast across China on the eve prior to the World Championship in Shanghai. Hollywood Scoring was tasked with re-imagining classic League of Legends themes, helping to create the narrative for this concert film through music. We created new original arrangements and fully produced them at our facility in Los Angel...es. We’re thrilled to announce that Hollywood Scoring provided original music, custom arrangements, recording and mixing for League of Legends Live 2020, a show produced and commissioned by Tencent. Tencent gave us the wonderful opportunity to reinvent some of the best League of Legends music for a unique concert broadcast, recording and producing the music right here in Los Angeles, says Hollywood Scoring co-founder Noah Gladstone. We worked very closely with Tencent and Riot... Games to offer a new twist on many beloved pieces of the League catalog, and weave them through a colorful narrative. The unexpected challenges and pivots that presented itself for this year's show were quite the hurdle to overcome but we're all very proud of the music and production to be able to bring this important show to the country and especially NYC as they continue to recover from the pandemic. Riot Games League of Legends released a new cinematic today, we are particularly proud of this one as music was done end to end in house at Hollywood Scoring. Composed by HWS's own composer extraordinaire Michael Patti, recorded and mixed at HWS by Adam Michalak, contracted by Noah Gladstone, music prep by Thanh Tran, and of course our minister of scoring operations Sean Gehricke. Our friends at Riot Games have released the trailer for their new game, Legends of Runeterra. Hollywood Scoring was thrilled to collaborate with the Riot music department, animation team and composer Brendon Williams to record this cinematic back in 2019 at the Warner Brothers Eastwood Scoring Stage.
