The habit this year has been to find joy in new places. Maybe it’s completing a particularly challenging puzzle with your family or finally getting that printer finally connected to the home network. For the members of the Hollywood Master Chorale we found joy Monday evening when we gathered virtually for our first rehearsal since February. True it was an adjustment to be in our separate homes instead of all together but to finally sing meant more now than it ever has. Hollywood Master Chorale rehearsals start on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. Downbeat is 7:30 pm. Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church 505 N. Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90212... Parking is available on the street and in nearby parking structures. Feel free to join in at the open rehearsals on September 5th and September 12th. Artistic Director, Dr. Stephen Pu, is preparing a wonderful set of programs, and we need YOU to make us sound even better! The holiday concert in early December will feature Mozart's "Coronation Mass." Tell your singing friends. Hello Friends and Family, The arts have played a major role in our lives the last few months. We’ve been streaming movies, plays and musicals, playing video games and reading books all to bring some light into our lives. During these challenging times, it's important to remember the local non-profit artists that uplift your community. Because of the COVID-19 outbreak and its disruption of our daily lives, so many of these groups have lost their normal sources of funding. The... Hollywood Master Chorale has not been immune to this. We have had to cancel our June concert and postpone our annual fundraiser. The end result has left the chorale vulnerable and in need. As part of the new #GivingTuesdayNow global outreach program, the Hollywood Master Chorale asks you to give what you can to help the group to continue its 25-year mission of bringing beautiful and important music to the greater metro Los Angeles area, both in our concert settings and as we do outreach to places where audiences may not have easy access to the performing arts.
