Governor Newsom signed AB 1482 into law on October 8, 2019. If you rent residential real property, you need to be aware of these changes, which cap annual rent increases, and add new requirements for the eviction process of tenants.

When people ask me why they should have an estate plan, I explain that one of the main reasons is to avoid #probate.
