The day cannot go by without recognizing those that serve as County Veterans' Service Officers. Charles Hunnicutt, the County Veterans' Service Officer for Fresno County has served in that capacity for longer than I know and has always gone the extra mile for our veterans. I would like to take this day to thank Representative Costa and his aide Kelly Gill for the service they give to our veterans. When we have a problem that fails to work through normal channels, Representative Costa and his staff have always stepped up to the plate to help, no excuses. It is one thing to go to parades, wave the flag, and give the speeches. It is entirely another thing to show up for the hard day-to-day work when you think no one is looking. I got this from Yelp. The Walking Fingers Scam Every now and again, scammers don’t do their homework and use out of date materials for their subterfuge. Fortunately for you, this provides an immediate red flag. One such scam uses the Walking Fingers logo on false invoices and other business correspondence. This logo is no longer used by YP Marketing Solutions so if you receive something with that logo on it, it’s definitely a fake.

At last a Veterans Cemetery on the Central Coast. Seaside, CA -- The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) today hosted the opening of our new California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery (CCCVC) in Seaside. Situated on the former Fort Ord Army Post, the cemetery both honors Veterans and memorializes the Monterey Bay area’s rich military history.
