Our newest employee, Carol, had her first public speaking experience tonight at the Crisis House 1st Annual Hearts of Gold Gala. Carol did a great job telling her story and introducing the Heart of Gold: Philanthropist Award to the Cushman Foundation. Bravo, Carol. And we’re very pleased to know the good work that Crisis House is doing for survivors of domestic violence.

Consuelo Martinez, City Council Candidate for District 1 in Escondido came by the office this afternoon to pick up some of her supplies for a fundraiser and took a minute to pose with our company mascot [me]. The last few piles of papers are finding their home... Organization Week is coming to a close :-)

Big thank you to our Hitzke-Homie, William Leach from #1410Partners for coming out and pow-wowing with us for a few hours to get us focused before our big organization week. We aren't burning through the to-do list as fast as I thought we would but with every minute that goes by and every task we check off of the list, we are feeling the weight of feeling less-than-ideally-organized lift from our shoulders. What a great feeling!!! #organized

We're closing down the Hitzke offices next week to do an "organizational re-boot". In preparation, we are going over our files, systems, etc to see where we have fallen behind and where we can improve. I came across this page in our file binder (a list of every file we have) and was just reminded about how super organized my peeps already are! Now we just need to be #Perfect

I'm so excited to read the article "Declutter your business." We are shutting down our office in a couple of weeks to do just that. I'm hoping to get some good tips.

It was a bittersweet day for the Hitzke Development peeps as we said Farewell to our Maintenance Director, Dave Peffer. Dave & his beautiful and perfect wife (aka my mom) are shipping out to Georgia tomorrow. We love them & wish them the best!!!
