Today marks 8 years of HIP VEGAN! 8 yrs since that day in 2012 when we decided, yes! Let’s do this What a ride it's been. At 928 Ojai Ave, Ben and I (hi, I'm Marisa!) spent 5 incredible years at this little east end spot (where the beautiful @izakaya_fullmoon_ojai lives now, and wow, are they making it look good over there) Now we are about to hit 2 years in our new home downtown on Montgomery... how time flies. ... We want to send love and gratitude to all our customers old and new, Ojai and everywhere. We appreciate your support, especially during this challenging time when eating out means eating takeout. I personally want to big shoutout my husband Ben who is the chef, manager, owner, plumber, and so on! who's been holding our little cafe down, especially during this past year and a half... while I wear my new mama hat. He will probably be mad at me for putting these words online, but I have to tell you about how hard he works to keep @hvojai open. We love you Ben! (He'll also be mortified by my posting his photos.) Sorry! Thanks to our lovely staff who we could not continue serving without. Each is a critical cog in this machine, all the moving parts work together to make the food come out just right to you every time you dine with us. Ok, thanks for reading the longest post ever here.
