**A Hillsford Court True Life Story** As many of you have noticed during our Saturday Night Christmas Lights "Open House" gatherings in the court, the residents of Hillsford Court have a very strong bond with each other. All the residents are "original owners" and lifelong relationships have been developed in the 12 years everyone has lived next to each other, As one neighbor said, "I could leave my house keys with anyone in this court and I would never have to worry about an...ything." Many other similar quotes could be added, but it's easy to get a clear picture with regard to the people that live in this court. With all this in mind...one of the court's residents has made the extremely tough decision to place their house on the market. This family moved into Hillsford Court (and Roseville) with a house full of kids...and now those kids are all out on their own. It is time to downsize and let a new family make memories in this wonderful house, enjoy the professionally designed backyard, and also experience the fantastic people living in this court. The 2019 Hillsford Ct. Christmas Lights Show Donation Results are in...and we had another great donation season. - $121 in cash donations were given to the PLACER COUNTY FOOD BANK. We decided this year to give them the cash directly (versus buying food and donating it), because they get better food purchasing deals than we do :-) - The food on the table was donated to (and physically picked up by) the PLACER COUNTY FOOD BANK.... - The group of toys with the purple "Care Bear" was donated and delivered to the TOYS FOR TOTS Program. As we mentioned in last year's donation post, the TOYS FOR TOTS Program has a Christmas distribution cut-off date and these toys made the 2019 cut-off. - The group of toys with the Hogwarts' Express was donated *after* the TOYS FOR TOTS Program's 2019 Christmas distribution cut-off date. As was the case with some of last year's toy donations, we will hold on to these and make sure they're donated *before* the TOYS FOR TOTS Program's 2020 Christmas distribution cut-off date. Just a reminder...tonight is the last night for our Christmas Lights Show. If you decide to come by, please try and bring a new/unwrapped toy and/or food donations. The donation bin is at the end of the court; located by the large Christmas Tree. Please, please, please...help us...help others...by bringing Toy and Food donations when visiting our Christmas Lights Show. We enjoy seeing everyone watch our Christmas Lights Show...but we also enjoy bringing these donations to the Placer County Food Bank and Toys for Tots. Your donations are truly appreciated!

Just to give our Opening Night visitors a heads up.. the show will go on this evening...but we may not have everything displayed due to this rain. As you can imagine, there's a lot of time invested in set-up and this rain has eaten in to some of that valuable set-up time. It will still be a great show, but please come back in visit us again...so you can see everything we want to display!

Our 7th Christmas Lights Show will officially begin on Sunday, December 1st. The Lights Show (to music) will happen daily from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm...and we will have our last Lights Show on December 31st (New Year's Eve). Weather permitting...we typically have hot chocolate and cookies for the kids on Saturday Nights. Our first gathering will be on December 7th. Please help us spread Christmas Cheer to others by bringing a new/unwrapped toy and/or food donations (peanut butte...r in plastic, can goods, pasta/rice/beans). Donation bins are at the end of the court, where the big Christmas Tree is located. We always post pictures of our donations and where we deliver them. Lastly, please remember the following: 1) Be considerate to other visitors and do not keep your car lights on in the court. 2) Please remember to turn your car lights back on, when you leave the court and drive off on Bickleigh loop. 3) Do not leave your car unattended in the court. If you want to walk in the court, please park outside the court and walk in. 4) Do not double park anywhere in the court, even if your car is occupied. 5) Do not park in or block the driveways anywhere in the court or on Bickleigh Loop. 6) Please keep your children off the lawns. We have many wires on the lawns and we want to make sure everyone stays safe. 7) Do not dump your trash on Bickleigh Loop. We want to keep our neighbors happy and continue to have their support. 8) Turn your car radio to 93.3 FM to hear the music and Christmas Movie clips. Enjoy!
