Hillcrest Center for the Arts’ series Classical Concerts on the Hill returns with Xiao Chen, pianist, in streaming concert at 2pm on Sunday, January 17, 2021. Xiao Chen is the recipient of many awards including: The American Prize, Frances Walton Competition, Carmel Music Society Piano Competition, The Muse International Competition, ‘London’ Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition, and Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition. As the winner of the Frances Walton Competition in 2017. Program includes: Waltz in A-flat major, Op.42 by Frederic Chopin; Barcarolle in F sharp major, Op.60 by Frederic Chopin; Sheep May Safely Graze by Johann Sebastian Bach; Humoreske, Op.20 by Robert Schumann. Join us for a Live On Screen Concert Drive-In cabaret featuring songs about love, relationships, and everything in between! Accompanied by a live band.
