On this Temecula carpet cleaning job I had a talkative customer who had rentals and was in real estate he seamed to have issues with a lot of companies IE prices or strange processes. He asked me some questions that a lot of people ask. But a new one was," what is your secret to carpet cleaning"? It was a bit like a job interview question. He seemed to be imply that we all do carpet cleaning differently. I guess we do to some point but really its not all that different. ...I explained that cleaning is prespray agitation and rinsing this is the same for every company other then chem dry (they don't have a rinse and can't prespray since they can't rinse it out). Our trade organizations currently recommend more pure water rinsing and using the chemical in the prespray more which is closer to how a washing machines work They also recommend strong Truck mounts for cleaning. Truck mounts need heat water flow and suction to get carpet its cleanest So I guess my secret is I follow recommended cleaning practices have a strong truck mount (it even uses a heater over a heat exchanger) all at a good price. Lets discuss some big names in Carpet Cleaning to get some differences: Stanley steamer presprays usually with a hydroforce then steams with chemically treated water. Zerores presprays with a hydroforce then cleans with carbonated water (carbonated waters benefit over pure water is still questioned). The carbonated water is both a bonus and a hindrance most companies alter their carpet rinse chemicals depending on conditions so a light soil has almost pure water while a heavy soil has stronger chemical so Zerores has a disadvantage when it comes to getting a heavier carpet soil clean but it wont have residue. So what is my secret? Well I always use High heat high pressure pure water carpet rinsing so no residue like Zerorez. I prespray the soil with a hydroforce and hand spot issues all at a resonable price of 3 rooms for 90.00. I will use a power scrub adding agitation if you have heavier soil in the dirtier rooms for 35.00 for 2 rooms so I can get dirtier rooms cleaner. Basically I tailor the carpet cleaning to your home using the prespray agitate and rinse formula we are all taught from day one. If you go with some one else you will still get a cleaner carpet and it will still be steam cleaned and most will try their hardest. If its expensive, still dirty or stiff with residue then its time to use another company. Like us.

Today in a Carpet Cleaning near Temecula I had a customer that 2 months ago had a big name carpet cleaning company charge her 800.00 for 3 rooms cleaning and 1 spot deodorization. Her end result is a smelly home and that one spot he worked on is shown below it was browned, smelly and a 3 foot circle of rock hard carpet from all the salts dumped into it but never extracted completely. She called me to see what I could do for her carpet and I charged 3 rooms 90.00 Enzyme 35.00... and Stain retardant 40.00 as she wanted all extras I could do the total was 165.00. As I black lighted the homes carpet I was surprised to see 25 or more pet spots in each room so why did he think this one carpet spot should get his special treatment? I mixed up enzyme in the hydro-force as there were so many carpet pet spots I didn't want to use a pump up sprayer, and sprayed all the spots while they soaked I spotted the carpet browning with brown out and began a slow rinsing of all the smelly salts I felt the hard spots remaining and steamed them until the carpet was soft and playable again . I then enzymed that pet spot as well and left it to soak as I started the furthest carpeted room. The other company it appeared to have tried a bucket deodorization technique. I have an issue with this method as I never have seen it work out well. You are supposed to line the pad with plastic pour the chemical and extract from both sides but spots are never against the wall so they just pour and extract flooding the carpet and you end up with this type of spot after the water evaporates and the salts condense. In addition even done right you can get bleaching and browned carpet as you are essentially creating a flood in some ones home with some strong chemicals. . My main thought is I know there are a lot of overpriced companies out there but most of the extra isn't for better service its just to make you think your getting better service.

I recently did a carpet repair here in Temecula where the carpet edge was showing tack strip beyond a restretch situation. The new carpet edge seamed in perfectly but you can see the color difference. After cleaning the carpet however the repair is invisible. This both shows how dirty the carpet was and also how carpet repairs will sometimes need cleaning to blend in.

Urine Carpet damage carpet cleaning: On this Temecula carpet before and after image we show heavy urine damage. To clean them takes some special work. While the dark grey spots come out easily the brown colored spots require an acidic cleaning the same as if it were coffee stains. On this carpet it was so severe rather then just spotting the spots individually I filled a rotary scrubber with all fiber rinse (a low ph product) and scrubbed it in. The scrubbing and the dwell time helped remove much of the browning before the strong truck mounted carpet steam cleaning. CDC is currently recommending on carpet cleaning to clean visible soil and then use a disinfectant. We have the only EPA registered disinfectant in our industry. available it is Shockwave (EPA 61178-1) so we can follow these guidelines. We know it takes 3 days on clean textiles for the virus ...to die at normal temperature but particles can lengthen its life so that is why a disinfectant as well as steam cleaning is the most recommended course of carpet cleaning. The biggest issue is operator to customer transmission, or vice versa. Currently we clean with our mask on at all times this helps us to not spread it to you or your home, we use a sanitizing wipe to touch doorknobs and switches and use hand sanitizer frequently .. We ask that you as well wear a mask when talking to us or are in the same room as us. If you are not home we can do contact-less for even less person to person contact. It is best if you pre-vacuum your carpet as vacuum contamination from other homes is a known issue (truck mounts such as ours do not exhaust in homes only pull in air so are the safest cleaning method). Please do not schedule if anyone in the house is sick or has had a temperature. By obeying rules and doing do vigilance we can all be safe during this trying period. To help prevent the spread of the corona virus I have implemented the following safety protocols. I sanitize before coming to the door, take a fresh paper towel to touch doorbell light switches etc. Maintain customer distance at all times. At time of payment I sanitize my credit card device before and after y...ou. Since I rarely get sick due to my usual sanitary procedures and the constant contact with cleaning solutions makes me unlikely to get the virus but I will discontinue at the first possibility of illness. Carpet cleaning bleach spots. Today in Temecula we had those slightly bleached spots where the customer carpet spotted with resolve with oxy on pet stains. It seems like a common issue. These were dark black from dirt sticking to the chemical residue and must have been respotted many times as the chemical was pretty heavy. In general when ever I see slightly bleached spots the customers pulls out their spotter and it says with oxy, so I would stay away from these products.

A day of Carpet cleaning in temecula: We did a carpet cleaning yesterday in Temecula and it was one of those older ingrained soil high low carpets. It wasn't the worse we've done but what struck me was I had to go back to pick something up and I could see the woman sitting in the entry by the door just looking at her carpet. She answered the door and said she was just sitting there admiring her carpets. We get a lot of compliments but this really struck me how it really mattered to her and made me feel good.

Yesterday I had one of those tile jobs that seemed to take forever. While I didn't chage extra over our standard .40 per sq foot the shellacked soil had concentrated a grey film over the entire surface and was a bit harder then just the grout lines. Shellacked soil is caused by low moisture cleanings from pad cleaners to low volume steamers.

One of my favorite things to do is run dual process carpet cleaning on those really bad carpets. On this one in Wildomar the customer moved into it 3 years ago and it was dirty then so they never saw it cleaned before. They were contemplating replacement of the carpet but thought they would try cleaning it. I wonder why people put these things off my price for three areas with scrubbing is 125.00 (90.00 without the scrubber) they had the stairs as well for a bit more but it seems like that isn't that much vs replacing.
