Guess who went back too hippotherapy after a few LONG months! Reasoning why we had to stop for a few months is because the weather got colder & it wasn't lik...e if it was just down the street, we travel 3 hours just to go. Since it's a travel we decided to make it worth it & stay four days out there so Genevieve was able to do three days in a row of hippotherapy. Which isn't necessarily a problem because we love our hippotherapy team, there the sweetest & there always willing to learn more about Genevieve & her journey of rett syndrome & that's the type of team you need is people who want to learn more about who there working with. #genevievesjourney #rettsyndrome #curerett #riseaboverett #reverserett #untillshecan #shecan #hippotherapy #ot #horses #specialneeds #girlpower2cure #overpowerrett #unlockrett Woodland Strides

Congratulations to Miss Gabriela (Gaby) Corona for completing 12 weeks of full-time level two fieldwork with us! She did a wonderful job and was loved by the children and parents alike. Gaby stated the things she will miss the most is getting to be outdoors and each of the kids. She values of equine movement as a tool for occupational therapy. The benefit of equine movement that most stood out to her was how it affects the pelvic floor in regards to bowel and bladder. She is now studying for her NBCOT exam. #occupationaltherapyfieldwork #nbcotexam

This week at the barn we learned about rainbows! We targeted fine motor skills, gross motor movement, and bilateral coordination. The kids loved participating in these colorful activities!
