Our client Louie is from Cambodia and courageously moved his family out here for a better life.Louie’s grandson learned that Louie was trying to resolve his insurance claim himself after he was injured in a car accident. Louie’s grandson told Louie that he needed to stop talking to the insurance company and call HHJ. Once HHJ was signed on the case. Elliott learned that the insurance company was telling Louie that he was at fault for the collision and he wasn’t entitled to relief. Elliott started his investigation which proved that the other driver was at fault. The insurance company quickly paid out the max policy limits. After settling the case, we asked the insurance company if they would be willing to issue an apology to Louie. They said no.

We want to give a shout out to one of our mentor’s in the legal community. He goes by the name John Gomez. Many recognize this man’s beautiful face from Monday night commercials when they are watching The Bachelor. To us, John is the OG trial attorney of San Diego and one of the first people we call when we have a complex legal question. John was born and raised in San Diego. He went to Yale Law School and worked as a US Attorney before opening up Gomez Trial Attorneys. John... gave us a seat at his table when we started our firm and he made sure we had the tools we needed to be successful. John sponsored us for trainings and was always available to us for whatever questions we needed. John is one of the few attorneys out there that will get in the trenches with a client and take their case to trial. Ed escaped from the finish line of the Boston Marathon Bombing, eluded knife-wielding gangs in Jamaica, and won a kung fu tournament two years in a row, equally unscathed. Last year, Ed was limping ...around as he prepped the pinata at a children’s birthday party. What happened!? asked Michael. Ed said he was riding his motorcyle when a car cut in front of him. He swerved to avoid a collision and ended up crashing. Michael asked Ed why he hadn’t seen a doctor. Ed replied in his New York accent, I’m good. I’ll walk it awff. Frustrated, Michael told Ed he needed to get treatment, and immediately sent Ed to an Orthopedic Surgeon for MRIs and a full treatment evaluation. Michael told Ed he would get him a couple thousand for his pain and suffering. The Orthopedic Surgeon reviewed the MRIs of Ed’s leg and found a ligament tear. Ed started going to physical therapy and chiropractic appointments with @drboknows. With @drboknows positive words of encouragement and treatment, Ed started to feel back to normal. Last month at dinner, Michael told Ed that he settled his case for the policy limits of $50,000.00. Ed was thrilled to say the least! Michael asked Ed what he is going to do with the money. Our client Chance (not the rapper) was stopped at a red light when someone slammed into her. Chance did not feel comfortable seeking medical treatment because she was afraid of catching Covid. The pain started to become unbearable so she went to the chiropractor. Chance started searching online for a personal injury attorney. Our client was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. The police report said that a witness pointed our client out as the driver after a serious collision. Our client was arrested and taken to jail where he blew a .22% BAC. Upon release, our client reached out to a family friend that worked in the court about who he should hire. He was told to call HHJ Trial Attorneys. Michael Hernandez was the lead on the case. This client begged Michael to help him and repeate...dly told him his brother was driving. This was strange because the police report said nothing about his brother being on scene or giving a statement that he was driving. The prosecution’s offer was 100 days in jail with classes and fines. He was a day laborer and couldn’t afford to be locked up and not provide for his family. Michael sent his investigator to take witness statements and requested to see the body camera footage on the officers. After investigation, we received a statement from our client’s brother stating that he was the driver. He said the other party ran a red light and caused the accident. We also learned that the truck involved belonged to the brother’s wife. After reviewing the police body camera footage, we saw our client’s brother on scene telling the cops he was driving. The witness that allegedly said our client was the driver never actually said he saw our client driving. Our client would call Michael almost every day saying he wasn’t the driver and begging him to keep him out of jail. After fighting this case for almost a year, the prosecutor walked into court last week and dismissed the case in the interests of justice. It is with great pleasure that we introduce you to the world famous David Hatfield. David spent his life traveling around the globe specializing in documentary style portrait photography. He took photos all the way from children in Cambodia to Snoop Dogg in the studio. David HatfieldPhotographyhas been published by: CNN World News,... Michael came across David’s work in early 2019 and we instantly knew that we needed him on our team. HHJ traveled across the world trying to find David. They received word that David was backpacking in the Dolomites, located in northeastern Italy. HHJ prepared to enter the eye of the snow storm and headed that way. After days of travel, Elliott Jung almost dying from lack of sugar, they found David in a cave interpreting hieroglyphics. To be honest, they met him at Moniker General in Point Loma. David was immediately drawn to the 3 strapping gentlemen and decided that he was all in. David and Michael now work together and travel around the Southern Hemisphere of Southern California to take photos of human beings that overcame adversity in the legal system. *Settlement Alert* $100,000.00. Brittany was sitting in the passenger seat when another car came out of nowhere and smashed into her. Brittany immediately felt pain shooting down her right arm. Brittany was on the job as a nurse at the time of the accident. Brittany went to the doctors and took x-rays. The doctors said there was nothing they can see on the x-rays and she should be okay. Months went by and Brittany was still feeling pain and loss of sensation in her arm. Brit...tany contacted our firm. We made sure Brittany obtained proper medical treatment to actually help with her condition. As Brittany recovered, Adam got to work. He quickly got the other driver’s insurance to pay their full policy of $25,000.00. Sarah was waiting for the light to turn green. She heard what sounded like a large truck barreling down the road behind her. Unknown to Sarah, the truck driver was looking down at his phone. Within seconds the truck smashed into a row of cars that were all waiting for the light. The force caused Sarah’s car to launch forward where it finally stopped when it was on top of the car in front of her. Sarah was rushed to the hospital. The doctors said she had a 2 mm brain bleed. P...artner Adam Hepburn immediately started the investigation. He learned that that the truck driver had a 1 million dollar insurance policy. Adam quickly hired an accident reconstructionist to download the crash data for every vehicle involved. Adam made sure Sarah had access to the best medical doctors around, including neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, neuropsychologists, and physical therapists. Adam also had Sarah undergo some of the most sensitive and advanced neuro-cognitive testing, enabling him to establish, with hard proof, future medical care costs, treatment, and damages. We had a key piece of video evidence that was on this cell phone. Unfortunately, it was purposely destroyed so our client could not recover it. The police said it was impossible. David Hatfield from our office contacted 4 of the most renown data recovery companies to see if they can recover the video. They said it couldn’t be done. Through a Facebook post, David was referred to Joe in Washington State. Joe said he will give it a shot. Upon receiving the phone, Joe immediately took it apart and transplanted everything piece by piece to a new phone. After several days of work, Joe reported that he recovered the full video. If you ever need data recovery, just know there is a guy in Washington that knows how to get the job done.

$400,000.00 MOTION FILED AGAINST HHJ TRIAL ATTORNEYS. Opposing Counsel filed a motion claiming that our law firm is filing frivolous motions against their client and using litigation tactics to give our client an advantage. They requested for the court to sanction our law firm and make us pay about $400,000.00 for their attorneys’ fees having to respond to our motions.
