A heartfelt thank you to everyone that joined us for yesterday’s Heritage + @burritoslapalma collaboration. The response was so much more than we ever could have anticipated. We’ll be reviewing processes and working to improve systems for our next collaborations. It’s our goal to make the experience easier, more fun, and help more folks enjoy some delicious one-day-only creations. Stay tuned for more news in the future. We’re excited to reopen the Heritage patio and welcome y’all to line up and enjoy your favorite smoked meats with us. For the time being, curbside will still be offered. Saturday and Sunday we will still require a minimum $100 order to take advantage of curbside. Keep checking back for updates on ordering and offerings as the weeks go on. : @todays.mood.neat

Say Cheese and Die - 6.2% ABV - Cheesecake-inspired nitro pub ale collaboration with Josh Lozano of Uprising OC and Tehachapi Grain Project. Strataday Afternoon - 5.1% ABV - West Coast Blonde with 100% Strata... Myrcenaries - 7.4% ABV - West Coast IPA with Cashmere, Mosaic and Simcoe Double Dan K - 9.5% ABV - West Coast Double IPA w/ Citra and Simcoe (Riip Beer Co's 5th Anniversary DIPA) Citradical - 5.6% ABV - Hazy Pale Ale w/ 100% Citra BBA Flannels and Flip Flops - 12% ABV - A collaboration Imperial stout w/ graham cracker, roasted marshmallows, cacao nibs, cocoa powder, and vanilla, rested in Surf City Stillworks Bourbon Barrels (Inspired by the countless nights of our youth spent munching s'mores, hiding our stash and trying to avoid the impending flashlights of lifeguards, this beer will transport you to the nights we love the most. Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Heritage BBQ, we smoked a portion of the base malt on Daniel Castillo's 550 gallon smoker, Clementine. To achieve s'more decadent flavors, we added graham cracker meal, roasted marshmallows, cocoa powder, Ghanaian cacao nibs and Tahitian vanilla. Sea salt was added at the end to enhance and deepen the sweeter flavors while reminding us of the salty, briny sea air that we enjoy so much. This LIMITED batch was aged in Surf City Stillworks Bourbon Barrels)
Chef Josh Lozano of @uprising.oc will be here this evening selling his infamous #rebelcheesecakes beginning at 6pm along with a killer tap takeover by our friends @riipbeer we start slicing bbq at 1pm!! Hope to see y’all here!!
There’s no beans in our chili (this is Texas barbecue after all), but there sure is brisket in our beans. Our Borracho Beans are pinto beans braised in beer, slow cooked with jalapeños, tomatoes, dried chiles and chopped brisket. We top it all off with cotija cheese and it’s no surprise this is one of our most popular side dishes. Add some to your tray on your next visit and let us know what you think! : @troxphotos
