2020 Helping Hands Highlight Reel! Last year was difficult for many. Our community stepped up and volunteered support, time, and resources to help our neighbors in need. We are so blessed to have amazing volunteers working for the same mission. Enjoy this highlight reel showing the dedication of our volunteers. We are so thankful.

During a recent food distribution an elderly woman approached me and started up a conversation. The 93 years old that could not have weighed 100 pounds said she was so lonely and needed some food. She openly shared with me that she just cannot live like this anymore and was now praying for life instead of the Lord calling her home. This was the first time she been outside of her trailer and spoken people since spring. She explained that she had been afraid to come out of her home because of the restrictions in place, she was worried she would be arrested. Her neighbors had been sharing their food provided by Helping Hands volunteers with her for months. Helping Hands will make sure she has all the food she needs in the future. Please pray for the Helping Hands volunteers and all our seniors struggling through this crisis.

The Covid 20 (I say 20 because I gained 20 pounds) season has limited the projects Helping Hands can take on but a situation came up that we could respond to. This ramp was built for a low-income senior in Wildomar. The project was coordinated by Jim Savage and built by our Board Member, Ted Horton and his friend Joe Barrera. You guys ROCK..
