There really should be a name for this: the glorious, short timespan when roads in previously snowed-over national parks become open only to bikes and not motorized vehicles. (E-bikes are probably OK.) Example: Yellowstone is open now to bikes, and not cars, until April 16. Have you ever done this? The roads are quiet and peaceful, but you always run the risk of coming up on a snowplow, earth mover, sudden snowstorm, or one of a dozen other risks! Podium sweep for Ineos Grenadiers! It was an eventful week at the Volta a Catalunya 2021. Adam Yates gets a big win, Geraint Thomas and Richie Porte return to form, and Rohan Dennis takes a TT win for the first time in almost 2 years. Their bikes, Pinarello, of course!
