Official Statement, Re: Staff Member Involved In Washington, DC Rally Like many of you, I watched the news yesterday and was in utter disbelief of what was taking place in our Capitol. Unfortunately, this incident has hit close to home for me. I was made aware that a member of my staff was among the many rioters who was involved in the insurrection. Once I was made aware of her involvement, I took swift action to terminate her involvement with Heartbeat Music Academy. We at ...Heartbeat Music Academy strive to uphold integrity, morality, and ethics, that not only support our mission, but align with our community standards and principles as well. Unbeknownst to us, the actions of my former employee took it upon herself to breach those standards. Her actions are in no way a reflection of what we at Heartbeat Music Academy stand for, now or ever. Thank you for the calls, texts, and emails regarding your concerns. ***2021 SUMMER BAND CAMP*** We have received a lot of inquiries about our 2021 Summer Band Camp. The question is are we having one? The answer is as long as there are no shutdowns, YES!! We are in the planning phases with the host HBCU Band for this year. We will only have one session this summer, the dates are set for July 12th-July 30th (three weeks). The cost of the camp is $300... We will only be accepting ages 11 and up with limited space, for both drummers and dancers. If you would like to be notified as soon as registration opens you can email [email protected] to have your name on the list. Stay tuned! We will be announcing more information in the coming weeks!
