Martha Jo had just won a trip to New York City and Valley Forge, PA for her essay on the American Way of Life." Another student, Zenobia Kimball, would win the award again 4 years later in 1954. What tools do paranormal investigators use? They often use an EMF detector, a tool used by electricians to locate the source of excess electromagnetic radiation in a room. How is it used by paranormal investigators? Find out at the Halloween investigation of Meek Mansion, Saturday, October 31 from 10pm to midnight. NOTE: Sadly, this investigation has been CANCELLED. These lovely butterflies are students at Markham School ca. 1925. Markham School was located at the intersection of B St. and First St., about where today's Century movie theater stands. These costumes may have been for a May Day celebration or community parade, but with Halloween around the corner, we'll take our inspiration wherever we can find it!
