Meet Ellie! This bright-eyed beauty is just 11-months old and full of zest and charm. Her big, beautiful eyes compliment her large bunny-esque ears. Ellie is as sweet as can be! She loves human companionship, attention, and access to a variety of toys. She is full of energy and will become restless if not provided proper engagement. Ellie will do best as an indoor-only cat for someone who works from home or is retired since she craves steady companionship. Another cat-friendly pet may also suit Ellie and provide a wonderful play-mate and outlet for her energy. If you are interested in meeting Ellie or learning more about her, please contact HART at 805-927-7377 #HomelessAnimalRescueTeam #HART #Adopt #805Business

Koki is one cutie! She loves attention, especially being brushed and cuddled - and don't forget the cat treats! She is a gorgeous long-haired torti who makes cute little chirps when she's excited. Koki is 10-years-old and eager to find her forever home. She will do best in a single cat household and kept inside-only. Contact HART at 805-927-7377 to set up an appointment to meet Koki or view all our adoptable cats here: https://www.hartcambria.org/view-our-cats-kittens #HomelessAnimalRescueTeam #HART #Adopt #HARTCambria #805Business

Mr. Kitters was rescued when his foster couldn't care for him anymore. His skin was ruined by severe allergies, and he was in dire condition. Mr. Kitters has been a real trooper throughout his life-saving treatment, which was supported by HART's Guardian Angel fund and the attentive care of HART's staff and volunteers. He is now fully healed, even if he looks a little plain. Don't let that fool you! His handsome face and upbeat personality make up for it in spades. He w...ants to help with everything (even the laundry) and enjoys attention and monitoring all activities. To stay healthy, he must stay on his prescription diet, but fortunately he is always glad to devour his special food. Mr. Kitters is ready for a permanent and loving home. Please consider taking this perky and courageous 9-year-old tabby into your life. Mr. Kitters will be a great friend who participates in everything you do. Thank you all who donated to our Guardian Angel fund and made if possible for Mr. Kitters to receive his life-saving treatment! He is a wonderful example of why this fund exists. #HomelessAnimalRescueTeam #HART #Adopt #HARTCambria #805Business

Your financial support is vital to HART. Our ability to rescue cats and kittens and place them in caring homes depends to a large extent on the generosity of patrons like you. Your contributions also help us reduce feline overpopulation through our active spay/neuter and Trap/Neuter/Return programs. By clicking one of the donate buttons below, you may donate online to one, or both, of two different HART funds. Your donation to HART’s general fund helps keep shelter’s doors o...pen and covers the costs for intake exams, treatments, and typical medical expenses. The Guardian Angel fund finances non-routine medical interventions, such as surgeries, dental work, and other costly procedures. Donations to this fund are used only for these special medical purposes. This #GivingTuesday2020 HART would like to extend a HUGE Thank You to everyone who has supported us in our Guardian Angel fundraising event. This past week we have raised around $1,000 to our Guardian Angel program, where 100% of funds go directly to paying for veterinary medical care for cats and kittens in need!! The Guardian Angel Fund exists to ensure that injured or ill cats and kittens in H.A.R.T.'s care can receive life-changing veterinary care when required. The Guard...ian Angel Fund pays for those non-routine and major medical expenses not covered by the HART General Fund. This year we were not able to conduct our main fundraising event (the Annual Cause for Paws Raffle) -- so we need your financial help more than ever. Every donation, share, like, means so much to our kitties in need -THANK YOU! H.A.R.T. is currently home to a larger than normal number of older kitties who are in need of medical care. In order to improve their comfort and quality of life they require procedures such as lab work, x-rays/ultrasound, dental care and medications. This past week we have shared some of our cats' stories who require medical care that our Guardian Angel fund will cover, such as Rosie, Pineapple, Phoebe, and Mr. Gray (pictured). Please consider making a donation to the H.A.R.T. Guardian Angel fund for Giving Tuesday. Our Goal is to raise $10,000, which is our estimate of expected medical costs for these cats in the very near future. If you would like to contribute please donate to our GA PayPal https://paypal.me/hartcambriaGA?locale.x=en_US Or mail a check to 2638 Main st., Cambria, Ca 93428. You may also call our shelter at 805-927-7377 to donate. THANK YOU #givingtuesday2020 #GivingTuesdayCA #slocounty #hartcambria

Meet Rosie - a bright-eyed beauty that recently arrived at Hart. She is incredibly sweet and craves all the love and attention she can get...and isn't shy about asking for it. One of our more vocal kitties, Rosie is quick to make new friends and easy to fall in love with Rosie came to HART at 16 years old experiencing constant diarrhea and Stomatitis. While we have treated her for both and seen positive results, Rosie still requires costly dental extractions and lab work t...o determine the initial cause of her illnesses. Sweet Rosie requires these medical procedures to alleviate any pain and she'll be ready for the loving forever home she and all homeless animals deserve. Thank you for any support you can provide If you're able - please donate to our Guardian Angel fund https://paypal.me/hartcambriaGA?locale.x=en_US which pays for non-routine and major medical expenses. Please share this post to help spread the word about Rosie #givingtuesday2020 #hartcambria #GivingTuesdayCA #slocounty

This sweet little face belongs to Suzie, a gentle and loving senior kitty here at Hart who adores lap time and being brushed. Suzie is FIV+ and is experiencing weight loss. She needs labs and possibly a bone aspirate to determine the cause of her weight loss and anemia. At 14 years old, Suzie was relinquished to animal services when her former owner passed away. Despite her FIV+ status and secondary health issues, we know Suzie still has many healthy and happy years ahead of ...her. The Guardian Angel program wants to make sure Suzie gets the best treatment that she and all animals in need deserve. Thank you for your support If you're able - please donate to our Guardian Angel fund https://paypal.me/hartcambriaGA?locale.x=en_US Which pays for non-routine and major medical expenses not covered by the HART General Fund. Please share this post to spread the word about Suzie and others like her. #givingtuesday2020 #hartcambria #GivingTuesdayCA #slocounty

Sherman is an 11 year old white & ginger male who is hyperthyroid and in need of labs and dental work. Sherman has managed to adapt to anything that life dishes out. He adjusted immediately to his new lodgings at HART and happily explores and befriends his fellow kitty-mates. As a senior cat, he is calm and easy-going. A little arthritis in his hind legs means that he won't demand constant activity - just the affection that a fine cat like him deserves. Sherman is a very sweet boy and deserves a long and healthy life - which the Guardian Angel fund hopes to provide him. If you are able and interested in contributing to Sherman's medical costs, please consider donating to our Guardian Angel #givingtuesday2020 fundraising event https://paypal.me/hartcambriaGA?locale.x=en_US #GivingTuesdayCA #hartcambria #GivingTuesday
