Socially distant pop up with the African American Cultural District! Rafiki Coalition for Health and Wellness did massages for about 18 people and we had one brave soul who did street yoga! The little ones had a great dance class and we heard the OG’s on the drums! Great to be out next to Sam Jordans Bar we will be popping up every Saturday. We will have therapeutic linkage, linkage to food, info on testing and the Give2sf funds and information on our wellness services. These grants include: Health Care and Direct Services: $500,000 to the Mission Asset Fund for the San Mateo County Immigrant Relief Fund to support low-income immigrant families impacted by COVID-19 and lockdowns, and who are ineligible for federal relief. $250,000 to the San Francisco Latino Task Force to support a test to community care model for testing, and an aftercare community wellness team that provides direct services and support for the Latinx community, particularly residents who test positive for COVID-19. $250,000 to the Rafiki Coalition for Health and Wellness to support COVID-19 testing, tracing, and health services for Black and African American communities in San Francisco. $50,000 to Chinese Hospital in San Francisco to support their leadership and response to COVID-19 in the community.
