Play Therapists throughout the nation are celebrating how awesome play therapy is and how effective it is in helping children and their families. Yippeeee.... Today marks the beginning of National Play Therapy Week. Be sure to make the time to add fun and play into your days this week!

Please join us for our Play Therapy with Children of Substance Abusing Parents Workshop on Saturday, February 25th! The trainings are facilitated by Kristy Schadt, MFT, RPT-S. Kristy has been a practicing Play Therapist since 1996 and is an AAMFT and CAMFT approved supervisor. She is in private practice in Simi Valley and is Director of Counseling for the Free Clinic of Simi Valley and on staff at UCSD Extension teaching Play Therapy. The Free Clinic of Simi Valley and Harmony Counseling Center work together to provide play therapy workshops to licensed and pre-licensed mental health professionals in our community. Our trainings are located in Simi Valley, about 40 miles north of Los Angeles
