Haiti Healthcare Partners

Our charity operates in just one region of Haiti, but today the whole country needs all of our prayers. In the last decade, the country has experienced a devastating earthquake, a cholera outbreak, Zika, gasoline shortages, currency devaluations and an out-of-control government. Haitians have somehow managed with tolerance and grace, but, now with riots and gang violence, let us pray for positive outside intervention and renewed reasons for citizenry hope. Remembering the work of our first Health Agent, Clement, whose energy and dedication has set a high bar for all of us at HHP to follow in serving the health needs of the people in Grande Colline.

HHP's Fall 2020 Newsletter is attached. Even in COVID, the Cherident clinic and staff continue to treat walk-in patients and deliver babies throughout Grande Colline. 24 healthy babies (vingt-quatre!) in November. We are blessed that no staff members have had the COVID virus and that their PPE is working.
