Praying for our industry I haven't said much since March 19th when we closed our doors. Just know, we miss our clients, we miss our jobs, we miss the environment and I personally miss the people I have bonded with and cried with and held their hands as they grieved the loss of a loved one, I've cut and shaved the hair from three different people in the last year suffering from cancer, I've celebrated weddings and babies and on the opposite mourned the loss of a marriage or ...a baby. My job isn't just to make people pretty, I've been prayed with and encouraged by my clients and I'm so thankful to all of you that have reached out during this time. I'm sad and frustrated some days. My license was obtained by 1600 hrs of cosmetology school. Most of that not even being skill but learning proper sanitization and disinfectant steps. I wouldn't say my job is essential but we have knowledge and we care and we can take the steps to properly care for our clients through this time of COVID-19. If you have a moment, please pray for our industry with me. For the amount of people that are out of work not just in my industry but also in a general aspect.
