As you may have heard, we were shut down again as of midnight. I wanted to say thank you to all of you for your kindness and support during our previous two shut downs. I am beyond saddened this has happened again. I will so miss swapping holiday recipes and stories. I will miss hearing all of your holiday plans, big or small. Please know I will be thinking of each of you, and hope to be back to work before the end of the year.... Take care and Happy Holidays!

Hi everyone, so hopefully we are getting closer to having information about when we might get to open back up. Thank you all for your kind words and support and you all know that I can't wait to get back in the shop and see you all. Tomorrow at 1:00 a group of beauty professionals will have a rally at the Capitol building. They will be cutting hair on mannequin heads, and doing nails on fake hands to try to bring attention to how safe we are at work. So if you all can send some positive thoughts that they will be seen and heard, that would be awesome! It is with extreme sadness I have to let you know that Ventura County hair salons were just mandated to shut down effective immediately. We are unsure of how long this will be for. As soon as I have any updated information I will let you know.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say how thankful and grateful I am to each of you for all your kindness, patience, and generosity during my first six weeks back to work. It has been an absolute pleasure to see everyone again. Sharing stories and just hearing about what you have and have not been up to has been amazing and I had missed you all so much!

It's almost time! Our official grand reopening will be June 1st! I will start booking appointments for everybody starting tomorrow. So please look for my call or text. Below are some of the guidelines. Unfortunately they may change or adapt as we go. Thank you all for being so kind and patient. The procedure for everything will be a little different, so I apologize if I am running a few minutes behind in the beginning. This may be a little long, but here goes: 1. When you arr...ive to the salon please text me of your arrival, I will make sure you have my number. Please wait in your car until I text back to come in. For now we will no longer have a waiting area. 2. There will be no group appointments. Only one person can be in my chair or near my station. If you come with someone that has an appointment with me as well at a different time they will need to wait in the car. 3. Please bring as little with you as possible. A closed container beverage and a small wallet you can carry on you will be best. 4. Your temperature will be taken at the door. If it is above 100 degrees you can take a minute outside to try to cool off if you think it was from running around. The receptionist will then retake it. If it is above 100 degrees a second time, you will be asked to reschedule. 5. Masks will be required for the entire length of your appointment. 6. Credit and debit cards, Cash, and checks will all still be accepted. As usual there is no cash back or tips on Credit cards. 7. Time spent at the front desk must be kept short so only one return appointment may be booked in person, but if you would like to book throughout the year please call in or text me! These are the guideline that will impact what you have to do. We will have all the guidelines that we as stylists have to do to keep you safe posted at the shop. There's a lot! I am so excited to see you all!!!

I wanted to say thank you to all of you for being so patient during these last few months. I can't wait to see you all. It looks like we will be able to go back in just a few days. There were a few stipulations from the county that we had to abide by before legally opening including submitting our reopen plan and safe practice guidelines for approval. That has been done and we are just waiting for their response. I will also be posting our client guidelines in order for services to be provided later today after our shop meeting! We are so close!!!

Good News! It looks like we will be able to open soon. I am just waiting for an official date from my boss. I will also post the guidelines to be able to perform and receive services as soon as I have them. Yeah!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to take a minute to let you know that we still have not been given an "official" date to reopen nor any new guidelines of what we will need to do once we do go back. I have been following along with all the other states' guidelines that have already reopened. So I feel prepared for whatever they might require. We will be open 7 days a week for a little while to help catch up when we go back. I will also be working even more extended hours than norma...l to help. I can't wait to get back and catch up with all of you. I think since masks will most likely be mandatory, I will miss seeing each of your smiles! I will also be wearing a mask and or a face shield. Please know it is not from fear, but to help protect and follow any guidelines so I can go back to seeing you all as soon as I can. 121 missed haircuts 74 missed root colors and cuts 117 missed weaves and haircuts 3 missed perms 2 missed straightenings... 30 missed blowdrys 3 missed appointments trying to book. Over 350 missed appointments, but far more important and valuable is the number of missed wedding hair, missed prom hair, missed graduation hair, missed stories of babies being born, missed sharing about those who have passed away during this time. I miss sharing recipes. To me it is 350 missed conversations about life. All from March 22nd to May 1st. I miss each and every one of you so much and I can't wait to see you all and share stories. Ummm, totally me!

It is with a very heavy heart I have to announce that beginning tomorrow we will be closed until the "stay at home" order is lifted. I will be contacting everyone as your planned appointment comes up to help come up with a plan for future appointments. I am remaining optimistic and confident that we will be back able to safely reopen sooner rather than later. You all are such a huge part of my life and I will miss our conversations immensely.
