Jeremy Fish spent the end of 2020 living and working in the Doolan-Larson Residence and Storefronts, a national historic landmark at the corner of Haight and Ashbury. In partnership with San Francisco Heritage and San Francisco Grants for the Arts, the Haight Street Art Center is proud to present Living in the Past, which includes the sketches and drawings Fish made while in residence. The Exhibition opens one week from today, April 17th, at HSAC.

We are incredibly excited to present Furthur Magic: A Psychedelic Poster Journey, an exhibition in honor of the 150th anniversary of Golden Gate Park. The exhibition explores psychedelic poster art of the 1960s, especially in the Haight, psychedelic events in Golden Gate Park, and the ongoing legacy of the psychedelic events and styles pioneered in both places. LIVING IN THE PAST - We are ecstatic to announce the opening of a new exhibition featuring the works of @mrjeremyfish on April 17th. In conjunction with @sfheritage and San Francisco Grants for the Arts.

Window installations featuring Jeremy Fish Artwork pieces are now on display at the Doolan-Larson Residence and Storefronts! Jeremy is the very first "Haight As...hbury Counterculture Artist In Residence" at Heritage's historic landmark on the corner of Haight and Ashbury, and since September he has been creating art inspired by the district's colorful people and history. The two works on display, "Peace, Love and Haight" and The Upper Haight, are a nod to the Haight Ashbury's counterculture legacy and to the district's legacy businesses. Screen prints of these works will be available at Jeremy's exhibition for this residency project in January, and you can follow us here and on Jeremy's Instagram for more details soon. Heritage is currently partnering with Haight Street Art Center to transform the Doolan-Larson Building into a cultural destination interpreting the counterculture movement in San Francisco and its continuing resonance today.
