I’ll Be Dam’ed Have you ever been to Hoover Dam? Did you know it was initially named Boulder Dam? This Altered Book was done in response to a call for art with a water theme. It is the brief, very brief, history of the making of Hoover Dam. Original newspaper clippings, images, souvenir objects, area maps, etc. You’ll want to really reflect on its magnificence next time you go. I’ll Be Dam’ed 4 x 7 $65

Back at Cha This piece is mounted on mirror, allowing the viewer to see their own reflection surrounding the skull. We will all end up a skull. Mixed media: bone carved skull, surrounded by 1800’s era pages from German Bible, embedded in hand carved wooden bowl, with crow feathers, mounted on mirror. 8 x 8 $85

That Other Place After collecting art stuff for over 30 years I noticed I had quite a few items reflecting other places and cultures. Thus, That Other Place was created. An altered book with lots of interesting ephemera and objects: glass slides, windows with hand carved beads, old paper clippings, unusual jewelry. Altered Book. 7 x 10 $65
