My biggest lesson from 2020 was PEOPLE FIRST. The people who love and support you and make you smile (even when they are suffering through their own hardships)...THEY are what life is made of. This made setting my intentions for 2021 pretty simple: 1. Stay connected to my people. 2. Reconnect with the outside world.... So FIRST, I want to tend to those relationships that served me in 2020. The people who supported me through the closure of my business. The people who reached out a hand to help me and give me a boost. The people who just let me cry. They were everything. I need to nurture these connections and be sure to insulate them from all the distractions that are bound to come sneaking back in. But SECOND, 2020 was just so freaking isolating. (And I’m an introvert. So that says a LOT.) As it becomes available and safe to do so again, I CANNOT wait to reconnect to the world around me. However I intend to reconnect in a more thoughtful way, though. I want to spread that warmth and connection that I felt from my people back onto others. And I intend to make a conscious effort to only add back into my life those experiences, pursuits, and relationships that are worthy and fulfilling to me and my family. I will NOT go back to being busy for the sake of being busy. I'd love for you to share what your intentions for the new year are for you and your family! What are your goals, intentions, or focus for your family in 2021?

236 days... That is how long we have waited to open up our Clairemont Mesa playfloor to Gymboree Play & Learn classes. November 7th we are returning, and we are so excited. It will look different, but we promise that all of the extra care & precautions will not get in the way of the magic.... There is something really special that happens when families come together to play side-by-side with their children. And we can't wait to bring that little 45-minute slice of joy and connection back to San Diego! THANKFUL THURSDAY We are thankful for this devoted Gymboree family (and many others like them). They started with us with their oldest son, and even though life continued to get more hectic with the addition of each new sibling...they were committed to giving each of their children the Gymboree experience. Then COVID happened, and they have joined us outdoors, and here they are making the drive from Poway to Clairemont Mesa to celebrate a birthday with a Private Play Session.... We have many families just like this one, who have shown their dedication and support to Gymboree during this extremely challenging time. We know that everyone has struggled during this year in some way, so we are so very grateful for those who have continued to show their support to us.
