I'm currently in the new Dawn of Fire series and it is a fantastic look at the current state of the galaxy in Warhammer 40,000! What have you been working on this past week? This weekend will see not only the release of the Sons of Behemat for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, but also some awesome reinforcements for both the Necrons and Space Marines go up on pre order! This week has not been the most productive for me hobby wise, having only assembled 6 of my chimeras and starting on 6 hellhounds. I did, however, decide on the final scheme for my infantry regiment of the Astra Militarun! Now just to come up w...ith a regiment name... suggestions are welcome in the comments! Have yoy ever felt less than productive in your hobby? That is ok! At the end of the day, Warhammer is for YOUR enjoyment and sometimes life happens, but the hobby will always be there for you when things settle. What have you been working on recently? This weekend is not only the start of the big releases for Warhammer 40,000, but also the pre order for the Sons of Behemat giants army for Warhammer Age of Sigmar! Make sure to come in to grab all the goodies! This week I have been working on a way to do the classic Cadian Kasrkin camoflauge pattern on my Tempestus Scions. I limited myself to a short time period to guarantee that I could paint all of the models in a reasonable amou...nt of time. I honestly am not happy with the results, and so have sidelined the camo pattern for now and painted aup a squad to see thebfinish without it. I can always go back and take my time adding it in the future! Have you ever had a an idea not quite pan out the way you envisioned? What did you do to fix it? And if you haven't how can I help? I am absolutley guilty of spending way to much time trying out different test schemes and trying to decide what is best. Happy Wednesday Morningside Plaza Hobbyists! I have been busy building up an awesome new Astra Militarum force for narrative games, and here are the fruits of my labors! I have currently finished assembling 155 Cadians and 67 Militarum Tempestus Scions. There is still a long way to go, and this project has been going since June of last year. You saw some of the armored part of that force last week. What have you been working on? Have you tried out narrative style games? What is the story behind your current army project?
