EXTREMELY LONG EMOTIONAL POST PART 2: As many of you know, we have worked tirelessly the last three months on creating a new menu that offers more affordable choices for everyone all while maintaining the quality and the mouth watering detail Gusto is known for. Some sacrifices needed to be made in order to do this, that being our Pizza style of Pinsa. Since thin crust has been another favorite of ours, we decided we should continue to stick with what we love. Switching from... the phenomenal light dough with have to just any other style wouldn’t be acceptable to us. We wanted our thin crust to be just as light and delicious! There’s no such thing as 24 hour matured dough to us! Finally, finally we’re there! The small bites are there, the Pizzas are there, the salads and desserts too! As some of our customers that have tried it know, saying that it’s AMAZINGLY delicious is an understatement. I personally went from crying over the change to being filled with excitement. Especially hearing the oooohs and ahhhhhhhhsss of our staff, neighbors and families that have tried our new items. Now that my very long and emotional point is made, we’re excited to announce that next week, we’ll be offering NY style thin crust Pizzas, Slices, Appetizers, new Beer and Wine and Gelato too! There will be something delicious with quality for different cravings and budgets. We thank you ALL for your support that last six months and especially now during this big emotional change for us. EXTREMELY LONG EMOTIONAL POST 1 of 2: Dearest valued customers, The last six months have been eye opening, life changing and terrifying at times. It has definitely been a roller coaster of ups and downs for us all. ... With all the difficulties we’ve all experienced, it has also been a time to truly reflect on how blessed we are, appreciating the small-big things in life and especially the health of those we love and the happiness of our families. This leads me to the point of this long post to come. Our family has worked extremely hard and put everything we have into Gusto. There has been times that that we’ve been here and with our staff more than our families at home. They have ALL become a part of our family. And in the end, our vision, perfection of our product, hard work, quality, genuine kind service of our staff and loyal customers contributed to our small family owned Pinseria becoming a popular five star restaurant. Despite our popularity and the heartwarming support of neighbors and loyal customers, we have been experiencing difficulties with the new regulations and restrictions. We’ve struggled like all other restaurants and small business’, just like many of you. We realized that if we didn’t roll with the waves to accommodate the current economic situation the Pandemic has put us all in, all our family has worked so hard for, can go down the drain. Dearest Customers: We will temporarily be closed Monday's starting next week to give my hard working family a day off to rest. They have been working seven days a week and deserve some R&R : photo taken of the "Dough Master" @naimsit and my youngest son cutting our 1 year Anniversary cake in December.
